Welcome to BR Accountants - Finance & Planning. We are a boutique Chartered Accounting firm, established in 1980, and based in Mermaid Beach on the beautiful Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia. We are family owned and the business has been run for more than 20 years with the same owner. David and Liz Robertson and their staff are committed to working with our clients to achieve successful Tax Consulting, Business and Finance Planning for all types of small to medium sized businesses and individuals. We specialise in providing an unparalleled inhouse range of services for SMSF's including: advice, creation, administration, accounting, tax, property acquisition and advice, with and without lending, Investment Strategies including direct property, direct shares & managed funds, estate planning and risk insurance. We are proud to say that we still have some of those clients of the original practice who started with us some 30+ years ago and today they hold a special place in our firm's history. David Robertson, the current principal of BR Accountants, brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in small to medium business advisory services after working for such international firms as Arthur Andersen & Co, Ernst and Young, and before moving to Queensland in 1990, he was the Chief Accountant at Head Office for ICI Australia, now known as ORICA. David lives in Robina with his wife Liz who is also involved in the practice and they have two children. BR Accountants can provide the complete range of Financial Services advice and assistance in a very easy to understand and holistic manner. David holds a Certified Financial Planning (CFP) certificate with the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and is an Authorised Representative No 246122 of Professional Investment Services Pty Ltd a Licensed Dealer in Securities. He is a Chartered Accountant, and a CPA Member of the Australian Certified Practicing Accountants. David has a unique set of skills and holds the following qualifications: Bachelor of Business (Accounting) RMIT, CA, CPA, CFP, Commissioner for Declarations (C.Dec), Registered Tax Agent, Diploma of Financial Planning, Diploma of Lending, AR, CR, Member of the FPA, MFAA, has a Full Real Estate Licence REIQ. Past President of the Mermaid Beach Rotary Club. David is also a proud member of the Melbourne Cricket Club, and Gold Coast Suns Australian Football Club. He has been the Chairman of the Gold Coast charity Newlife Care Inc since 2009. |
